Pearl's Postcards is a collection of postcards received by Pearl Krebs, when she was about 16 to 23 years of age. They cover a period in her life from about 1906 to 1913, and are from friends, family and neighbours.
Pearl Krebs was born 1 Jan 1890, in Scotia, Nebraska where she grew up and lived until she attended Normal School in Peru,Nebraska.
After her marriage in 1910 to Lloyd Story, they lived briefly in Grand Island, Nebraska before moving to Raymond South Dakota for several years, until finally moving to Standard, Alberta in 1918. She passed away in 1951
I have sorted the cards by the date on their postmark, so they are roughly in chronological order. There is still a batch of cards with no date on them the I will be adding at a later date. |
